This past weekend Marshall's cousin got married, so we got to spend a lot of time with his extended family. The weather was perfect for all the outdoor activities. It was so nice to see everybody and for Evan to meet a lot of them for the first time.

1st Birthday Party

Evan had the best birthday party of his life on Saturday. There was cake, presents, and lots and lots of love.

12 months

And just like that, our baby turned to a toddler. This year has been so much fun! Everyday we learn something different about Evan. It has been such a joy to watch him discover the world. 

Evan has started taking a few unsure steps in the last few days. It won't be long. He still enjoys reading and will bring books to you that he wants you to read to him. He is getting pretty good at throwing everything. He is always so happy and easy going, unless he is hungry, tired, or you take the remote from him. He is quick to laugh and lights up a room with his smile. 

I wish time would slow down, but every change has been more and more fun so I can't wait to see what the next year brings. Keep exploring, Bean. We love you!

Easter

We had such a wonderful Easter with both sides of the family. I was nice to have Evan join us this year. Last Easter we were anxiously waiting for him. Evan got an Easter basket and lots of good food. What is not to love about Easter?

11 months

Thought I should get this in before Evan is 12 months :( I am not going to write about his new tricks, because I do not remember what was new for eleven months and what happened after eleven months. So there will be a lot of new tricks on his 12 month update.
